What do i need to eat. I'm on a limited budget and healthy food is really expensive.

Also during the day i don't have time to exercise and i live in not such a great neighbor hood. So would ddr be a good exercise?

Thanks

Work out for an hour a day for atleast five days a week and eat very light. Drink water water water and water. No juice that has high fructose corn syrup, no sodas AT ALL! lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits, but don't go nuts with the fruit. I eat cereal, maybe two bowls a day, but that not really fattening cereal, buy cereal that has less than 15 "calories from fat" not calories but calories from fat. By the way, eat foods that contain less than 25 calories from fat but you want to lose this fast, so just stick with the fruits and veggies and water and exercise, and i promise you'll be fine. You won't see results after the first week or two but don't get discouraged, it's just your body getting use to the workout and new diet. I'm doing this now and it works very well for me. Goodluck girl and keep the faith!

Okay, here's what I did : I threw away all the regular butter in my house and bought fat-free butter. Threw away all the regular chips and bought baked chips. And I also bought more skim milk, cereal, fruit, and vegetables. And every day me and my best friend Morgen talk a mile walk down my Lake Michigan (since I live by the lake). And I walk my kids to school instead of taking them in the car. In some cases, subsitutes for food really help you lose weight! And you can even have Weight Watchers desserts when you are doing this! And trust me there desserts are DELICIOUS and only 3 grams of fat! Very healthy. This is what I did and lost over 80 lbs. Please try this! Good luck! :)

I am not a doctor so I am not suggesting you do this, but I once lost a lot of weight rapidly on a tuna fish only diet. Every time I was hungry I had a can of tuna. I lost nearly 30 pounds in the first month. This was 20 years ago and I don't know if I ever want to see that much tuna again.

Depending on how much time you have....You can Tae-Bo takes 45mins. (wake up earlier) it's a DVD you will see and feel results soon you'll be sore the 1st day then in about 2weeks you'll see it then by 30days there will be other people noticing all is relative to what you eat ect.....just eat more times a day very small portions like what you would give a child 6x per day it will work but no life long change (which weight-loss is....a lifestyle change) will happen overnight.... good luck

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

One way to drop those pounds is to stop eating sugar and
breads. Also try exercising at night, basic moves done in the living room. Leg lifts and push ups.

hope it helps

please please PLEASE don't go on one of these calorie, carb, points counting diets etc...... i don't know of anyone who has the willpower to actually do the counting let alone stick to the diet!

just start eating healthier, watch the saturated fat you eat (fat that is solid at room temerature e.g. bacon rind, the fat in cheese, beef dripping ...) don't deprive yourself of anything or it will just do your head in, you'll want it all the time!

if you fancy chocolate, have one of those little freddo bars by cadbury, tiny bars of chocolate that satisfy the craving. instead of crisps, try seasons by quaker: dont be put off by the fact they're crispbreads, its the same as eating anything made out of corn e.g salt and vinegar chipsticks, wotsits etc! they taste gorgeous (not 2 fussed on the cheese and onion ones tho, a bit bland for me!) and they only have 2.5g of fat, 0.4g of which saturates, fantastic! they do have over 100 calories, but if you're eating plenty of fruit and veg based meals throught the day this is fine.

try this site for healthy recipes (you can even filter the search results for recipes containing the most amount of calories and fat etc you want, or if you have to avoid certain foods you can use the filter to do this too, really good idea) http://www.recipezaar.com. its brilliant.

look for healthy soup recipes to take to work. they're so easy to make and last up to 3 days in the fridge so once you've made it you dont have to worry about what to have for a few days! just have a brown bread roll with it, i'm not keen but kingsmill ones are lovely. but always use stock granules, much healthier and easier, and i actually prefer using them. the knorr chicken one is brill, i havent tried the vegetable one yet though.

chicken and turkey are the leanest meats, and chicken is sooooooooo versatile theres so many recipes for it! even if its just grilling chicken with seasoning, like the schwartz shotz, little sachets of seasoning like chargrill, bbq, cajun etc makes it much more exciting and its so easy! served up with a nice big salad with a bit of fresh lemon or lime juice for more interest, or low fat dressing (you can buy the one you get with a macdonalds side salad in tesco!) and a small jacket potato or some new potatoes. mmmmmmmm!

the bbc food site has nice recipes, too. just look for simple ones that dont take too long or dont require ingredients you'll use once and throw away.

i haaaaaaate exercising but it does make a difference and you see the weight start to come off a bit sooner: grab a mate, a dog or a friends dog if you dont have one and try to have a few walks throughout the week. dont laugh at this bit, but buy a skipping rope and skip on the spot in the garden for as long as you can whenever you can, and try using a trampette when watching your favourite programmes instead of sitting there trying to fight the urge to snack!

hope this helps, if you want a few recipes or a few more tips, just let me know by answering one of my questions and i'll come back to answer more of yours! good luck :)
