There isn't really any good answer.. you have to find out what will work for you.. It takes time to get over someone.. and if you really cared about someone you can never truly get over them.. sometimes you just have to ignore it or live with it.. there's no right or wrong answer on this.. . and no one can really tell you want to do to get over your love for this person... if you want to get over him this badly.. then your just going to have to find your own way on how to ignore him, cuz when it comes to this stuff most of the time, its best if you make your own discion, not let other people tell you how to handle this situation..

the answer is simple. You can't stop loving someone just like that. Time and distance are the only things that will make you forget everything. Believe me, I was in your situation like3 years ago and nothing people said, nothing my therapist said made me feel better. 3 years had to pass (where I found out even worse things about him) before I started to think of him as something wrong in my life. But now I'm in peace, I have my sweet son with me (and he is my pride and joy), this guy lives like 50,000 miles away from us and although this has affected my son, I rather think this is for the best and I can finally say: "I'm healed"

Imagine him as a cancerous lump, mind over matter. The first time I was introduced to the idea the circumstances were somewhat different but I had to move on. Forgetting forever is not the answerer, as you will need to store the experience for future reference. We can however empower ourselves with reinforcement taking control of the internal battle within. The idea of the lump is to visualize, battle and conquer. Hope it helps.

I don't know how to stop loving someone. Feelings are out of my control. How I behave is all I can control, and even that is a struggle. Time may not even heal the wound, but it will make it easier to bear. Trying not to DWELL on the pain, but to focus moving forward, building myself, does help some.

Picture him being a liar, hurting you on purpose, taking advantage of your feelings, betraying you and only using you to serve his interests.
If you try really hard you will at least be able to discover some of these things being true and you can concentrate on how you are better off w/out him.
Always works!
