the boy i like is close friend with my ex but my ex still like me but i dont like him i think the boy i like isnt going out with me is because he doesnt want to hert my exs feelings

Nothing you can do about that one. Your ex's friend is doing his buddy a solid by not dating his ex because it might really hurt your ex to see you too together.

1st of all you are confused! and you are threading on dangerous grounds.have u stopped to think - maybe they are actually trying to see how loose you are? guys are the best actors,they are very good when it comes to playing a girl.a guy quickly notices if a girl is interested.but ill advice you think twice about your decision to leave your boy friend.instead if u are not inlove with your boy friend,dont leave him for his friend leave him for sm 1 else.
