Is it possible to move Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Student Edition from one computer that already has the program installed to another computer that doesn't have it? Basically I want to uninstall it from my old computer and move it to my new one, but I don't know if that can be done. I still have the original CD that I used to install it, but I recall that you have to activate the software with a product key and they will only let you activate a certain number of times.

I just did this for my daughter with her student edition, the software instructions claimed you could only use the keycode 3 times.

It is not illegal, you are allowed to have one copy of the software installed on one computer. What you are saying is legit. If the keycode doesn't take, call the 800 number provided and be nice to the Indian on the other line. They will give you the activation code. All you need to tell them is it is installed only on one computer, no more details needed than that.

either install from disc and use product code if it doesnt work go to www.isohunt.com and search for a product key. or make a copy of the program from your existing computer on a cd and install from that.
