M. Taylor - W 38 (KO's 20) TF 47 - W pct 81% - KO pct 43% - wins over McGirt, A.Davis and G.Brown - KO'ed by T. Norris and Chavez[2]
Held titles at 140 and 147
He appeared to never have recovered from the beating he received from Chavez, even though I thought the stoppage was premature

Tszyu - W 31 (KO's 25) TF 34 - W pct 91% - KO pct 74% - wins over R. Mayweather, C. Grove, Zudah, S. Mitchell and Zudah KO'ed by R. Hatton (I saw that fight, Tszyu quit in that fight just like Duran)
As of 2004, he was #`10 ranked current/active pound for pound
fighter.

Taylor is a world class fighter. Tszyu is a good puncher and a dirty fighter. His power and constant pressure will wear down Meldrick in a 13th rd TKO (referee stoppage [Richard Steele] but no controversy this time)

The Kid Meldrick Taylor, he was a real life complete boxing machine by 1990. Glorious to watch yet in the traditional Philadelphia mould.

Chavez was better than Kostya, possibly the greatest to be remembered in that weight division. But today some still argue that Richard Steele gave him that historic bout under circumstances of immense high tension. Meldrick would have taken Kostya down before the 10th.

Good question Brent! I believe that Taylor is a better boxer and would control the fight vs Tszyu and win by decision.

Ward might want to be coming ahead all day suitable into Tszyu's jab. this may seem plenty like even as Ben Tackie fought Tszyu. I see this wrestle taking section in out as both Ward receives shutout, or receives stopped on cuts.

In his prime, Taylor easily. Although I would have gone for Tszyu

I see this Fight as a Dominating fight for Meldrick, but it will end a Come from Behind Dramatic KO for Tszyu.
