Yes, a very good idea. Do be sure to keep your journal in a safe area away from prying eyes, because if you truly write what you feel in the journal others may not like your private thought..Good luck.

Yes, keeping a journal is a very important thing. Expressing feeling that can be locked up inside of you for days getting them out and on paper is a great way to relieve stress and other symptoms. Journals are great and a healthy necessity for stressed or worried people.

very healthy.
it could be your emotional catharsis... like you can't tell friends about your darkest, deepest, secret... that's fine.. your journal won't have any problem with that at all.
in addition, you can always go back to your journal for you to see your progress on certain things i. e., attitude
then, maybe in a few years, just the mere reading of your journal may give you a good laugh.

It can be. One way of letting go of things is to write about them. On the other hand, it can degenerate into a futile attempt to take control of the uncontrolable by obsessing over them, again and again, in print. Either way, it is essential to keep such a journal hidden from the prying eyes of your family, roomates, spouses, etc.

yes it is probably the best thing in the world you could do for your self. writing about things that bother you or make you happy even is the best therapy in the world . Just make sure you hide it well so no one is prying into your private feeling. in a journal you can bare your soul and not be judged then you can even change your mind and no one is hurt. go for it Debbie

Very! This way you can keep track of your highs and lows; of your good and bad days; of happy things, and sad ones.
You can also keep track of what you've eaten each day - and see if the types of food you ate affected your mood in any way. That goes for how much and what type of sleep you got each night too.
You'll probably, after a while, notice what affect the stressful days had on you.
Writing is good, and very therapeutic!

I highly recommend it. I have discovered things about me through journalling that I may have never uncovered. Sounds crazy, huh? But, whatever works to build me, I'm all for it.

yes it is. if you write about sadness, it usally helps dilute it. writing about happiness makes you feel happy because you remember that fun time you had. i read in a magazine that writing in your journal at night clears your mind of stress and worry. then you have a better sleep that night since you are not worrying about bad things that are going to happen or happened.

Yes, because you'll be able to look back on what you've done in the past, how you got though some problems.. how you failed and how you succeded.. How your life went in the past and how its going now.. its basicaly like another place to store your memories and thoughts so you won't have to store them all yourself... so yes its a very good idea...
