yes, i am born in bangladesh.

Dont be surprised if people dont know about one of the largest genocides ,a country with 147 million, the heart of the ganga, the land of Royal bengal tigers, and 1970( when a cylone killed 500 000) in the matter of minutes. Bangladesh is not in the interests of most people. Being one of the poorest nations it is known to few people in the west and that is the way we prefer it.

I was around when it was born. It used to be the eastern part of Pakistan. It first hit the news with major floods from the monsoons which resulted in mass starvation and disease (it was the poor part of Pakistan). This was what generated the Beatles concert. Having not paid much attention since it became independent, what is it called now?

Yes, a long time ago when John Lennon sang about Peace. Its been around since before you were born..... to correct an answer a few before mine.... it is in Asia (next to India) - not Africa.

Yes...poor nation in Asia....many are starving and die due to lack of proper food and health care.
