No. A whole birth control pill sometimes isn't enough to prevent conception, therefore half a pill definately will not be effective. Also with half a pill you will probably experience a lot of breakthrough bleeding. If you can't handle the side effects, contact your dr. they can change it to something that else that may work beter for you.

No, you have to take the whole pill. If you are having a problem w/ taking a whole pill,then you need to talk to you're Dr. There are alot of other birth controls out there.

My estemation is no it wont be effective the birth control pill is not made to be cut in half get your own perscription and take it yourself

taking half may not work. My friend took birth control pills, she now has a serious blood clot and is going to spend the rest of her life on blood thinners. The shot seems to have less affects and it lasts 3 months. But it may reduce your bone mass, and people gain lots of weight while on it
