Have any of you had family freak out because your hair went dark when you got older? My hair was blonde when I was a kind and then went dark. One half of my family loves it the other half is freaking out. Personally I just like to be natual whatever and wanted it dark anyway.
Has anyone had this issue before? You were blonde as a child and then your hair went dark?
I think so many people bleach their hair that people do not know about this.
My aunt has been bleaching her whole life and now she has started to get bald spots. I guess she wants me to bleach and color treat too, but I would rather have long brown hair than have a blonde haystack with bald spots.

Yeah I guess the moral of the story is we should just be happy to have what we want and others should just mind their own business. Whatever we want to do is fine.

You have to be happy with yourself. It sounds like you want to stay natural so that's what I recommend. My hair was very blond as a child and it has steadily darkened over the years. Now, I lighten and streak and I love it. But this summer at camp, someone mentioned my blond hair and my sister popped out, oh, she lightens it with kind of a smirk.
Oh well, I still like the way my hair looks and so does my husband. In fact, he's the one who encouraged me to lighten it. Oh my, I seem to be rambling now.
Anyway,
Make yourself happy and those around you should be happy. Stay natural since that is what you prefer.

I think this is natural. I was very blonde as a child, but as i've aged my hair has gotten much darker. It's more or a dark blonde. Alot has to do with sun exposure too. I spent much more time out in the sun as a child than i do now. It's not an usual thing and your family should leave it alone!

my brother did that, his hair was blonde and now it's dark dark brown. mine was light brown and now it's almost black, so yeah i guess it's normal..
