Yes it was good. You moved forward and showed some courage. Even if she turns you down, at least you know and you know you can do that and survive.

Bad idea.You should just tell her that you want to spend some time with her and to get to know her better.
If you have a crush on a girl she may think that you may start stalking her and trying to sabotage her friendships so she is available only to you.

Good, see it this way - If she likes you, hurrah. If she doesn't, hey at least youve paved the way to recovering from a broken heart (if it does happen) much faster than you would have if you didnt tell.
