My boyfriend complains that I can never relax when we are together. I have a hard time sleeping in with him, so I usually toss and turn in bed for awhile. When I'm at home, I can sleep in just fine.

He says that I act as though we always need to be doing something. On one ocassion, he was making dinner and didn't need my help and was finishing a movie that I hadn't seen. He didn't want my help, and I couldn't just sit there, so I went to a store.

He asks why I can't relax and I don't have an answer. Could this be a problem?

Perhaps....Who ever you settle down with finally should be someone that you can profoundly be relaxed with and that you can be yourself with without play acting or roll playing.

Do you feel like you aren't relaxed around him? If you see nothing wrong with your actions, talk to him and explain why you do the things you've done. Maybe you can't sleep in with him because you have trouble sleeping in a bed besides your own.

I think it could be.. i would really try to just find something you two can do together thats relaxing.. even if its talking in bed... i found out that once I did this I becamse more comfortable with him and began to sleep soundly.. I know it counds weird, but you just need to find something you can do together that forces you to relax! Good Luck!

Cause you're nervouse around him. Relax have a conversation. Help him cook even if he says he doesn't need help it's allways nice for him to have you there. occasionally turn him around and give him a flirtatious kiss

sounds like he has a problem. If you wanna go to the store or whatever you should be able to do that. You need to just tell him that you are the way that you are and for him to get used to it.

Sounds like a problem to me. Do you feel a need to be near him every moment ? Or does he just make you nervous ? Good Luck! :)

its all about trust, you just dont fully trust him yet, you will in time if you should, but maybe it is your gut intution, or guardian angel that is keeping you awake for a reason, look closly at him and then decide if you should and do fully trust him...if so you will get better..dont worry...
