His paintings need no introduction, but how do you feel they represent his commentary on 15th century society?

He left some of the most disturbing images of all time, especially the Hell panel of his Garden of Earthly Delights triptych.

As far as commentary on 15th century society, an excellent example is in "Death and the Miser." For Bosch, there is always a choce between good and evil, each with its attendant consequences. As an angel pleads for the miser's soul, death is in the door and the place is already crawling with the demons unleashed by the sin of greed.

His lanscapes of phantasmagoria show that he is both visionary and provocateur.
