I found these two cameras at Goodwill and I would like to buy them, but I don't want to buy them unless I know for sure if they still make the film they need.

I am a professional photographer, and camera collector and I have never run into such film sizes. Although in terms of projectors and film movie cameras prior to 1909 when there wasnt a standardized film size there may perhaps be a 50 or 27mm film size. However, what I think you might have done is mistaken the focal length of the lens for the size of the film. If you can give me the name or at least the model of the camera I can give you the size of the film you need for that camera. If you want to you can go to KEH.com and you can take a look at their selection of vintage cameras to get a better idea of what cameras you have found in terms of both their actual value and the type of film they use.

I recommend which you first purchase a sturdy e book on photos. That'll be of plenty use to you initially. The mm you ask for is the focal length of the lens. The smaller the variety, the broader is the view lined while status on a similar place. 18-55mm is a 'zoom' lens or a lens with variable focal length. it could flow from 18mm extensive to 55mm low telephoto (on a D90 physique). 105mm is an prolonged focal length and covers a very small container and works as a telephoto. 200mm remains greater focal length and further reduces the attitude (or brings issues nearer). by utilising changing your guy or woman place, you are able to substitute the attitude too with multiple focal lengths. ideally you need to purchase a 18-one hundred and five or 18-55mm lens initially and not one hundred and five or 200mm, yet do purchase a sturdy e book on photos first. EDIT : for the answerer who became into shocked approximately 105mm lens - There are lots of those primes. lots of macro/micro lenses additionally use that focal length. in the days of 35mm rolls, it became into actual a highest high quality focal length for images.

Wow I have an old WWII gun camera that uses 27mm but nothing new uses it in the US
But you might find an overseas company that carries it
A lot of photographers collect cameras so check in to what you have there.

If they're really interesting looking, buy them as decorative objects. I used my grandfather's old cameras that way, and they looked great!
