omg this is soo happening to me right now. I don't know why guys do it but they definitely back off when they start to get strong feelings about a person they like. Guys are soo different from girl in that they express themselves in a whole new way so if he's backing off that either means that this feeling is new to him and he doesn't want to rush things or mess anything up - so basically he is taking his time exploring this feeling OR he doesn't want to be that close and is trying not to get too caught up. You can make him feel comfortable by just following his lead and not coming on too strong. Not too much space away form him but not too little either. Make him miss u sometimes or just go a day without calling him - let him come around. That way you'll see where his head is at.

Some men are scared by getting too close too fast. They may put distance in the relationship to feel safer. A wise woman will allow them the space they need. Men usually come back when they don't feel the woman is trying to tie them down. They will periodically put distance in the relationship when they feel it is needed, but come back sooner each time until they admit they are ready to make it a permanent situation.

listen, it happens only when any gud guy like me , will understand tht u cant keep it going. it means that when u cant keep on faith in each other, u cant be like each other choices. thn this thing happens.
usuallyy if u find someone u love thn do giv thm a space as with me i love a girl she knows tht i am in lovwe with her i told her too , but still she always keep distances but this distance had make me close to her.

that is it matters how a distance can create a difference.

Most guys pull back when they feel confined or trapped. It's best to pull back, most guys love the thrill of the chase, and getting something that they can't have. Best bet is to find things for you do without him, some guys just need to be left alone for a day or two.

not all guys are like that believe me...i find girls like that and have forever so it feels...seems we have very similar situations...depends on the person whether space is what they need or they had no intensions but to sleep with you...find someone you know will adore you, love you and be for you how you need them to be...go with your gut feelings know what it is you need and chase it

some do -- the insecure, immature ones. they fear commitment, don't want to be tied down. i would say don't push him. let him give as much as he feels comfortable, and if he starts backing off, he may not be ready for the commitment you're looking for. in that case, you may want to cut him loose and look elsewhere. maybe in a few months, he'll be ready.

You got it wrong. You are generalizing. Obviously your guy just wanted you for temporary good times. He did not know he'll sweep you away. Just wake up. You are going with a wrong guy.

If they distance themselves, it's because they're not serious about the relationship... they just want to hit-and-run.

Some guys do. They might lack self confidence or be shy.
