Look for a guy who does not have same charateristics like ex-husband had. Make sure the guy who dates you even makes a consideration for ur kid.
At the end of the day he should make you smile and you forget all ur worries. Happiness is the key u r looking for.

I am a single devoriced mother, so I feel your pain. The good news is that you can find a boyfriend. I found a great guy and he loves my son as much as he loves me.
I suggest you take your time finding a guy. Some guys are freaked out by a ready made family, so you kindof have to weed those out. You need to be up front and honest with any guy that even ask you out on a date. Try going out to a club with a few friends. Just to get out of the house and see what guys look like again. LOL They aren't easy to forget. If your into that kindof thing then you can check out those online dating sites.

How did you find your first husband? You can't be that novice. Do what you did first time. Of course now you have a child and you can't go out that much because baby sitters are expensive. May be your mother can take care of your child when you go out.

I'm sorry, but I think that you need to hang it up if you got married, had a child and it didn't work out, unless your husband was unfaithful to you (and that's the reason you divorced him) or if he died.
You get into men who are also divorced, really messed up and then they bring their kids into it and our whole country has gone downhill like this.
