does a good job shedding light on the way Christianity really is:

"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me."
-Emo Philips

Seems like that's what Christianity boils down to. You can knowingly do something wrong and totally be forgiven for it without any punishment whatsoever. How would people feel if we adopted that into our legal system? That doesn't seem like a good way to make society better.

Why does Christianity think it's okay to steal, murder, rape, and commit every other possible crime?

Christianity does not think it's okay to steal, murder, rape, and commit every other possible crime. But we have a sinful nature, and what Christianity boils down to is a man on a cross who died to save all of us. We need His forgiveness.
If we knowingly do something wrong and ask for forgiveness, i think that's wrong. It's giving ourselves permission to sin and just saying "oh, well God will forgive me". and He will - BUT only when we are sincere.
and don't forget - when we do wrong, He rebukes and disciplines us just as a father does to a child

Because for the last 2000+ years Christianity has been the cornerstone of almost all of the western world's laws and regulations. They feel as though they can do anything and be forgiven later. The simple fact is that while they ("God") may forgive you, you still have to carry the burden of your ill-doings for the rest of your life.

GOD and christians do not belive in stealing or murder or rapeing some one. the only way that you can realy be forgiven is to ask GOD to for give you and realy mean it in your heart, and if you do something that you know is wrong that makes the LORD angry, and GOD does not give bikes to kids, that is the parent,s job. GOD gives you and and he want,s you to love him back. with all your heart and soul and mind, the same way that JESUS loved and still loves us

we will eventually have to answer to god for even every bad word spoken christians non christians a like. not all christians do the things you describe but yes unfortunately i agree some have and still do. many wolves in sheeps clothing. unfortunately we are all in the same boat, but at least some christians and non christians are trying to change to be better people.

I would suggest that you become educated regarding Christian theology via a method other than a stand-up comedian.

Because they think they are God, or at least the closest thing to God there can possibly be...therefore they are better than the rest of us and they don't have to follow our laws.
