I'm in high school and there's a wedding in November, it's pretty formal. Not very formal but not casual either. I know it's at a fancy hotel. What are some appropriate clothing would you suggest? Or some tips you could suggest. I know like no jeans, flip flops, t shirts, shorts, etc... Thanks.

hmnnnnnnnn you failed to say where you live which is a big factor in what to wear. you dont say whether you are a female or male either..... i would say male---black suit. female---something like what you would wear for a fancy dinner and dont wear something that is so stand-out that it detracts from the bride's presence. good luck~

Since it's in California, if the weather is nice, I would wear a simple brown or black dress (spaghetti straps or maybe a wrap dress). Bring along a matching cropped jacket or shrug in case the weather gets cool. For shoes, try to find some cute wedges (no jute, rope-y looking stuff, look for leather) that compliment the dress.

I know it's pricey, but it's a place to start. I'm sure there are cheaper versions of this simple black dress everywhere.

I would wear a suit without a tie. Or a full suit of medieval armor.
