this is the part where we choose to ignore and not talk about it
salvation and miracles are for the perfect and pleasant looking
those born aesthetically challenged we associate that with evil and blame a devil who is also a christian man made god
people who have been amputated do not get healed by god, rather by surgeons, people born deformed get replacement grown by scientists or donated
this is where circular reasoning and logic kicks in, or what we call "doctrine" and dogma outside of sacred scriptures to try and justify our faith in the object we create and worship
most worship today petroleum and status, money or control not 'god'

God created the universe to run as it had been set some time ago well beyond our comprehension. Many people, Christians included, think that God, in whatever form you may consider him, or her, oversees or controls every thing and every body. Not that it wouldn't be possible for whatever you may think God to be, but then everything, from the smallest particle that can exist to the largest concept of the universe would be subject to the whims or the petulance of whomever is controlling it. But, so far, the world operates along the lines that physics and the physical world demand. When some one is conceived, the process of DNA and the human body follow those same lines. Some DNA recombines improperly and you have a deformity. Mom drinks alcohol during pregnancy and you have a deformity. Too much sun and you have a deformity. God didn't do it, the process of physics did it.

Go up to someone with a horrible deformity and tell them that they are God's mistake. See what they say back to you.
You are assuming that a deformed body equals a deformed life. You are assuming that the body is all there is to a person. You are also assuming that because the majority of people are made one way, there is some eternal integrity to the shape of most people's bodies. You might want to question these assumptions.
God doesn't make mistakes, no. God allows unusual genetics and viruses and medical errors and all sorts of things to exist in the world.
Seek God, and ask him if he makes mistakes.

God doesn't make mistakes. YOu are judging those things to be mistakes, not God. He has a perfect plan for that child and that family that is totally beyond you.
How do we know that deformed child won't be the next Joseph Merrick or hellen keller? What if that is meant to teach a new parent about kids with disabilities?
Yeah, we could blame God for bad things happening. Look at Christopher Reeve! Something horrible happened but he went on to make a great example for a needy cause.
Labeling things like birth defects as "mistakes" is pretty short-sighted if you look at it that way. It's actually superficial. Not to mention it's mean and uncharitable to people who live with those types of deformities and disabilities.

God never makes mistakes it us who does. He is perfect. We are not. Even if people are born with horrible deformities, God has a plan for everything. he does everything for a purpose. =)

Deformities and genetic defects are a result of sin. Ever since sin, the genetic code has been deteriorating through mutations which can cause deformities. That isn't God's fault, it's our fault. We sin, that sin separates us from God and His protection. However, sometimes God does heal, so I'd suggest praying for healing and perhaps it will happen. It doesn't happen all the time bc this is a fallen world and God's kingdom is only here in part. But, you'll never know if you'll be healed until you pray for it regularly.

God does not make mistakes--People make mistakes. Some do drugs that change the reproductive chemistry. Others it is just a cross that they bear all of their life for Jesus as he knows before they are born who is his. There are many reasons but it is not God's fault. He can bring great good out of bad though so we should not be discouraged.

Jesus was asked a question just like this. Here is what He said...
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
Jesus will heal the deformities of this world. The blind will see Him, the lame will embrace Him and the deaf will hear Him.

Nope, but genes can and do. Genetic abnormalities are a part of nature and afflict more than just the human species.
Try to understand. God is just not all that bound up with your physical envelope. After all, it's subject to entropy and it's gonna be dust someday. What He cares about is that your soul has no deformities. And that's strictly up to you and how YOU decide live your life.

this place is a battle ground which originated in heaven when one third of the angels rebelled, this is a place we share with the devil and his fallen crew. we are tested by god to see first hand what comes of sin and its affect on everything so so we will learn to despise sin and become loyal and faithfull subjects to god when risen after death (achieved by being joined to christs spirit.) and making us clean by his sacrifice so we can even get to heaven because man is but filfy rags in the sight of god, and again god says all have fallen short of the glory of god there is no-one righteous not even one. we are to become like the angels but unlike the angles of old have experienced and seen the result of evil and tasted its fruit. basically life is a test and a lesson even angels are watching amazed and learning from this. so god doesnt make mistakes we do. we dont understand suffering is good for us. god even sent his son to suffer. iam not callose i have suffered many tramatic things in this life and except even this even still.
cause i know its for a good purpose. people with deformities will rule over us in the next kingdom. so treat them good, theyre of a higher authority.
