Zionist Jews wanted the prime land in Palestine - the right of return applied to them. Everything else (including Orthodox Jews) was goyim.

While it is true that many Zionist Jews escaped the Holocaust, it had nothing to do with Nazi preferences.
Most of those who could had left for Palestine in the early 30's, BEFORE Hitler really got his pogrom going, that's all.

Oh come on!!! People who even had a relative who was Jewish died in the holocaust. Edith Stein a Catholic nun died in the Holocaust because she used to be a Jew. Gypsies died in the holocaust. Many, many people died in the Holocaust. It did not matter that they were Orthodox or not.
