im going to stay there soon...
im staying in a hotel for 169 a night for 3 nights...and i was wondering how much that REALLY is plus the tax

The sales tax rate in Mass is 5%. However, when it comes to hotesl, there are usually other taxes and fees associated such as an occupancy fee. Your best bet is to go the hotels website and go through the motions like you are making a reservation and see how much the total cost would be. They usually give an estimate of the total bill.

If I had to make a guess, the total bill will be closer to $185 a night.

5 percent sale tax but i'm not sure what if any for hotel tax, In RI hotel sale tax and sale are 2 different tax.
