Flaming Dr. Pepper!

Want to serve up a really cool drink to impress your friends at a party? Look no further than the Flaming Dr. Pepper!

Steps
Make sure the bar area is clean and not cluttered. A suitable bartending area is always important, one that can be easily cleaned and withstand spills without problems.
Set the glasses out and open up a beer, pouring only half of it into a mug.
Fill the shotglass about 3/4 full with the amaretto and then carefully layer the 151 to the top of the glass.
Ignite the shot, allowing everyone to be wow-ed by the neat blue flame.
Carefully dump the flaming shot into the mug of beer and blow the shotglass out if it's still flaming.
Chug and enjoy the drink's similar taste to a Dr. Pepper.

Tips
All lighters will work, but for safety a long candle lighter is recommended.
Make sure the 151 and Amaretto are room temperature and are not chilled, so they can easily ignite.
The faster you chug the more it tastes like Dr. Pepper

Warnings
Do not attempt with loose clothing as it may also ignite.
Keep long hair away from the flame.
Do not allow flame to burn too long as it will crack glass eventually.
Do not attempt to drink anything that is on fire.

I love a good mojito, but not everyone makes them. A lot of places don't have fresh mint and they just aren't good with anything else. I also like martinis that are not "juiced up" with mixers. A lemon drop, especially if it is made with lemon vodka, and a chocolate martini. That one only has alcohol in it. The stiffest smooth drink you will ever have. The best is made with vanilla vodka (1.5 oz) and Godiva liquor (1 oz.) Life is good! Check out webtender.com to find more favorites.

Sidecar:
1 oz of brandy, 1/2 oz of triple sec, 1 1/2 oz of sours. Shake it, pour it into a chilled martini glass, garnish with an orange and a cherry. It tastes like yummy alcoholic lemonade and it's very classy and oldschool.

Mango Sunrise:
Just like a tequila sunrise, but with mango rum. So it's a shot of mango rum over ice, with pineapple juice poured over top and a bit of grenadine on top of that. It's really sweet, but you can skip the grenadine and it's still great.

i have three recipes that all use rum.

¤The Mojito (my version)¤

What you need:

White Rum
Mint Leaves **EDIT** (did not read the part about the liquor store. For a substitute see if you can find a mint or peppermint schnapps. It won't be as good but it'll work)
Sprite/7-up, or Club Soda if you prefer
A Fresh Lime
A Highball Glass.
Ice

How to make it:
1. Put about 2 mint leaves and 3 to 4 slices of fresh lime in the glass.

2. Use a mortar or whatever to crush the lime and mint to get the the lime juice to merge with the essence of the mint leaves.

3. Add ice

4. Fill the glass 1/4 of the way with the white rum.

5. Top it off with the soda.

6. Stir it all up and enjoy.

¤Captain's Cream¤

What you Need:
White Rum (preferably Captain Morgan's)
Ginger Ale (preferably Schwepps)
Ice
Highball Glass

How to make:

1. Add Ice

2. Fill the glass 1/4 with white rum. (or more depending on how potent you want it.)

3. Top it off with ginger ale

4. Stir and enjoy. If done correctly, it tastes just like cream soda and you can barely taste the rum.

¤Jet Fuel¤

What you need:
151 proof rum (preferably Bacardi 151)
Sprite/7up
Ice (optional)
Highball Glass

How to make.

1. Add ice if you want to
2. Fill the glass half way with 151 rum
3. Top it off with soda
4. Stir and enjoy. It looks like jet fuel and is just as potent.
