Fried chicken, mashed taters, and gravy with collard greens were my fav. Brussel sprouts were my worst ever, I still get sick every time I see brussel sprouts.

My Mom wasn't that great of a cook. I guess she tried. I think her worse concoction besides her goulash was this casserole where she filled the bottom of a cake pan with solid raw hamburger, put a can of veggies on that along with some type of cream of whatever soup and some tater tots. Ugh! She was great at making brownies though, so made up for it.
My Dad was the better cook and he excelled at chicken and rice and anything grilled. He still cooks the Thanksgiving turkey and makes the best stuffing EVER.

My dad could pretty much only make spaghetti with sauce out of the jar, but he is really good at it. My mom used to make these pork chops with apricots that was pretty good. She also took keilbasa sausage and green and red peppers and an onion and put that in a pan and cooked it real quick and I loved that. But here is a good breakfast tip. When you are using pancake mix, add a half teaspoon of vanilla and a tablespoon of sugar. This sweetens the batter and make it more homemade tasting. You can also dump in cinnamon like my dad does. It's very yummy. Just ate one dad style a couple minutes ago.

The worst food is this canadian concoction called slop! Yuck! My dad made it. It consists of spam, macaroni and cheese and tomato.

The best food my parents ever made for me is probably Audrey III's. These are named for the movie/play little shop of horrors. It was my fathers ingenious way to convince us kids to eat brussell sprouts. The dish consists of pasta, a white cheese sauce, and brussell sprouts.

My mom made the best fried chicken. I am still unable to duplicate it myself.

I also liked her spaghetti. She was really into cooking, and made everything you can imagine, but those were the things I remember most.

I loved beef stews, enchiladas, tacos, chicken and rice, macaroni, lasagna.

The only thing I can complain about with my parents cooking is we never had side items! NEver any vegetables or fruit or anything, they weren't big on sides but I missed out!

The best tasting foods were the worst for me: home-made ice-cream, baked casseroles of all types, steak and fried foods. Fresh fruits and veggies are best for our bodies and my Mother's eggplant casserole is the best for me and the best tasting dish for me.
