that is very true. when we moved house about a year ago i found out to the true extent of my wife's compulsive shoe buying. when we unpacked she had at least 80 pairs of shoes and about 20 pairs of boots and loads and loads of hand bags. i made her get rid of loads on eBay and now i feel more better for it but the down side is she is still going out and buying more bloody shoes and boots to replace them. she went out last week and brought back 5 pairs of boots i could see her logic they was cheaper as it was not winter and she saved money but why oh why do women go to such lenghts.hope this help your shoe fighting friend JAY... helllllp im falling into a sea of blooming SHOES.......................................

In real life, women are bewitched by everything that supports their beauty. Only shoes are bought with more convenience. You need not go into fitting room for thirty or sixty minutes ; just sit down and try your size - in few seconds. And shoes are cheaper than all others . . that's very good justification. Men usually look at your beauty from head to toe - not only at your feet!

Don't stereotype, I am a woman and only buy shoes when I need them. I see what you mean and wonder why certain women buy so many and personally I think its this nonsense to be like the celebs, a crazy idea that shoes somehow do something for them. the crazy thing is they end up with crippling foot pain, bunions and what ever else goes with fashionable shoes. I don't see what all the fuss is.

We don't buy shoes for the purpose of men looking at them... we buy them because the feet are generally thought of as the ugliest part of the body... what it boils down to is that we buy them to make ourselves feel good... to add beauty to our feet.
Then, when we look at our feet, we can see beauty in either the colors or the styles of shoes.

Hi well i deffinatly dont buy shoes coz i think men are going to look at my feet, that goes for any of the clothes i buy as well. We buy shoes because we like them and you can never have to many shoes. Next time you go to by some shoes /trianers that you like, dont you know girls dont look at you feet, some men are as bad as girls for buying shoes/trainers

I have four pairs of shoes- two heels(both I bought for two different occasions), two sneakers(one pair I wear everyday, one crappy pair). I'm not big on buying shoes, which is unusual, but i've got better things to spend my money on. Like lingerie! That's my thing. But I don't even buy close to the equivalent of what women buy in shoes these days. Nor do I own one purse/handbag lol.

I am woman and I am not obsessed with shoes, i only have a few pairs and that's cause I like dry feet on a wet day. I'm not really into make-up or clothes either.

sure way human beings dont stare at ft and allow you to recognize in the experience that your ft are vast and small. anybody is diverse. Your foot will cramp up or decelerate blood flow which isnt the neatest or excellent element to do. I wouldnt do it. particular from time to time i will try yet its no longer snug and that i wouldnt delight in donning the footwear. DW about it. once you've the right shoe, it suits completely and doesnt make your ft look too vast or too small! Waste of money

I buy shoes because I refuse to be like some men...too cheap to replace shoes that have holes in them and cover the holes with black electrical tape.
