I spent over $500 in 1990 to try contacts only to find out that I was allergic to some substance in them...and they were the soft kind! I was so very disappointed. I have to wear specs anyway since I cannot go out in the sun withouth sunglasses as the Transition lenses on specs do not get dark enough for my photo sensitive eyes. I even have a tint on my regular glasses as the glare from inside light and computers can generate a migraine.
My optometrist teases me that I'm a vampire, in a former life, but I just cannot take the light. And the contacts cannot solve that problem for me either way. I was hoping that I could just wear contacts and buy cheaper sunglasses but now I'm still stuck with glasses and sunglasses, both scripted. If you don't have any problems with allergies, go for the contacts.

Absolutely contact lens (soft disposable lens even better) 'cos you can do anything including difficult kama sutra positions (just kdding). But most definitely contact lens especially if you have thick spectacles. Contact lens are just so seamless that you don't feel like you are wearing them. IMHO, it is arguably one of best modern inventions.

Up to you. Glasses are no problem for most people. Contacts are only for carefull, organized people who can follow a regimen for keeping the eyes and the lenses clean.

Talk to your doctor and friends who wear contacts.

For many, contacts are for vanity reasons only.

Contacts are good but you can get an eye infection.

By far contaxt lenses becuase you can go swimming in them, they won't fog up and they don't hide a beautiful face!
