I dont agree with skinny models but I do hate the fact that there are so many fat kids around today and they are always eating when you see them.

Once they are mega fat as kids surely they will be mega fat as adults?

Their parents have a lot to answer for but then most of them are fat as well!

Eating constantly is a way of life for kids. There are snack machines, canteens at school, and soft drinks with sugar in them. It is a combination of the high daily levels of sugar and preservative and growth chemicals that cause the kids body chemistry to be corrupted. When a baby is born, it internal chemistry is a CLOSED system. The blood is free of any and all external chemistry elements. A mother's milk will give the baby its first unnatural chemicals if the mother drinks, smokes or eats unhealthy foods whild she breast feeds. Later on the baby is fed baby food that has preservatives in the jars, and the food was make out of veggies and fruits that were mass grown in fields that were sprayed with chemicals to keep them pest free... and with chemicals that make them grow fast. Cows milk is full fo antibiotics that cows are given in their feed and other chemicals that keep them healthy. Mass grown chickens are fed antibiotics and chemicals to make them grow quickly so they can be killed and sold. By the time a child is 3 years old... his CLOSED internal body chemistry is so poluted that his genes do not have a chance to develop naturally. We are full of chemicals and it si BIG BUSINESS and the economy of this country is based upon this business. Europe is beginning to put a ban on US grown and produced foods because of the high chemical content. Europe does not want that tainted foods on their table. So the US is beginning to change their production of the foods that are sold in Europe and continue to polute the foods for the US because the Food and Drug Agency demand it...

WIth the continual injestion of snack foods, sugars, chemicals and soft drinks and the lack of sustained exercise the population of the US's obesity problem will grow. There should be three good wholesome meals a day, but what family spends time to cook... and not use the micro or call in fast food for a meal??? And who buys organicly grown foods and makes their own dishes? The reason for obesity has a broad basis... and the problem is more complex than one reason. We need to start by sweaping our "own doorsteps" clean of bad actions that make unhealthy traits that are allowed in our homes... we need to return to a much healthier home life... and this takes the effort of all the family members. Hope this helps you to understand this problem... because it is a really big problem that will become worse before it gets better... sorry to say. Good Luck!

Genetics is key. If youhave heavy parents you are most likely heavy also. I think people should worry about wieght as a health issue... Not as a look issue and that is what people I trying to teach but poorly to there kids... Not to base looks on everything. It is a sick joke I know but at least efforts are in the mix somewhere

I think that all children should be healthy. Yes it is possible to be fat and healthy at the same time. So, my opinion is that it is not okay for children to inactive. Some kids have genetic dispositions ot obesity, Don't simply judge the book by its cover, judge by the actual activity. Are the children and their parents trying to slim down? Are they trying to excersize? Are they trying to eat better? These are all things to consider when thinking of placing fat blame.

I don't know. But maybe it is really hard for parents to not allow their kids to eat. I think they feel bad that's why. But then again this is a big issue. I think parents should tell their kids to balance it out with exercises and sports.

Don't jump to conclusions to fast, sometimes there are medical problems.

Other than that, the people that think it's OK probably are lousy cooks and use McDonald's for a regular family diet.

the bad thing is that the parents don't see that. they see their children still having baby fat and think it'll magically disappear as they get older...by the time they finally realize there is a problem...it's usually too late to get them to start eating healthier and exercising more.

I don't at all. I would strictly forbid my kids to have fattening foods. I woudn't put a whole lot of pressure, but would keep reminding them how significant it is to stay healthy.
