I Generally like progresso better because it has bigger chunks, which is more like homemade. But like most people, I find both salty. I do like Campbells soup at hand idea, and their bean and bacon is one of my favorites. My Grandpa use to tell me that the chicken in the campbells chicken noodle soup was chicken lips, because that is the only part of the chicken that is that small. I have never really been able to eat that soup since then and enjoy it. We like to make one can of progresso and add an extra chicken breast to it. Makes for a fuller meal.

I prefer Progresso for eating soup, they have better choices and I like the thinner broth. My husband likes Campbell's chunky with the thicker gravy. Although I do like Campbell"s condensed soups for cooking casseroles and the like, so I guess they are both good in their own right.
P.S. (It's PROGRESSO!!!) lol

Progresso puts too much oregano and basil in their soups. When using this soup I add it to another Like campbells.

progresso tastes more like home made, campbells seems to have gotten stingy with the meat, lots of liquid and potatos tho!
