My sister is a pathological liar. She claims that 2 days ago she had a seizure, but that when she went to the hospital they did a test. The test didn't show any signs of a seizure. Supposedly, they did give her two medications, then sent her home. The medicines were Dilantin (not sure of spelling) and Kolanpin (again spelling). She leads a very stressful life. She has a boyfriend who beats her, she abuses prescription drugs (she has snorted them), marajauna is smoked in the home everyday, but she doesn't smoke it. She smokes cigarettes like a freight train. Ok I hope that was enough info.

It is very possible to have a seizure and not shows signs during the test because you may not be having a seizure at that moment.Both medications are for seizure disorders.However if the rest of your tale is true, she may just have wanted the meds to snort them.

It is not uncommon for a person that has fainted to have a short seizure as part of the fainting spell. I have observed this numerous times as part of vaso-vagal reaction when someone has a fear reaction to getting their blood drawn.

yes a few ppl can have seizure even if there is no sign, because you said her bf beats her, my ex-bf beat me too and i had a few seizures from him beating me, now that i am not with him, i never had it again, suggestion is that she should leave her bf who beats her

Are you sure she is not abusing any other substance? Cocaine??? Amphitamine? Phencyclidine?? Ephedrine?? These 4 are capable of producing convulsion and EEG shows nothing.
