Talk to her about it. Personally i think that the best friend should have no say in wether or not you have the right to date her ex. She should just be happy for you if your happy. As long as you didn't "steal" him, then she should be happy for you. Unless he's a complete jerk. Listen to what she has to say about him. Just talk to her like you would any other guy. I have hooked up ex'' with friends before. I don't mind. I think ex's are just that...X's. I'm not that uptight. Hopefully your friend is not either.

Best friends ex. U better watch ur step. How long have they been broken up? Have u talked to ur best friend about this. You have to look at both sides here. Your best friend may say she's cool w/ it but that will be totally bs. There is always this unspoken rule u leave ur best friends ex's alone. Just becasue. So if you go after the guy you might lose her in the process. Remember your girl will always be there but that boy wont. There are plenty others out there to suit ur fancy girlie. I'd leave him alone if I was u and u wont to keep ur best freind as just that ur best friend not ur hated ex best friend.

It's never a good idea to date your best friend's X or your X-boyfriend's best friend. Because in this situation, this boy would wonder if you liked his friend better and wonder if you had sex with his friend and on and on. The same goes for your best friend's X. You would wonder these same things. There is too much room for jealousy and hard feelings to surface.

OMG I've been in this position before. It's alright to be friends "FRIENDS" and only if your friend is cool with it. Try to look past the cute face, alluring eyes, and that smile that could make a girl melt. lol

I would not try to even be more than friends with cute boy. He is your best friends x.... That is exactly what he will need to be. Your best friend will always give you negative points about him. He is not someone who will be yours forever, so is it worth jeopardizing your girlfriend for?

well if you sit next to him at least talk to him see how he's like first then when you know talk to your best friend and ask her how she feels with you being with him. but if you don't ask him and you are going out with him he could be a jerk. ok hope that helps

just ask your bf how she feels about you talking to her ex. some girls dont like it when their friends talk to the ex. be up front with bf and if she is not comfortable with that, then just smile at him and let HIM come to you. overall, respect your bf feelings. cute guys are going to come and go. but your girls will be there forever.
