It's about my first kiss... It happened in a summer camp .. I really liked the boy it was the first time I felt something for a boy annd it was soo amaizing!! We were both 12 .. I asked him to go for a walk with me and he accepted.. it was dark and noone was around.. he asked after a while if i want to kiss i said i didn't know, but he tried to kiss me, I turned my head away. We walked in silece and after a while he asked if we should try again and I said yes and we kissed but I felt so strange I didn't know what to do. We didn't talk after this. After this camp I texted him and he said he was freaked out by the kiss... knowing I was so bad at it I'm afraid to kiss a boy and I'm very shy.I could have had a lot of boyfriends but I didn't because of this
I know it sounds stupid but I can't get over it :((

At the age of 12 neither of you were ready for kissing altho you may have thought you were. Now at age 16 you are older and wiser and hopefully understand you body a bit better and the kissing will be more comfortable. Just remember that boys are just learning too and they are embarassed as well. When you are with a boy you really like the kissing will be easy and comfortable and you won't have to worry about doing it wrong. Just go with the flow and don't stress and you will be fine.

Hey dont be so hard on yourself, you were only 12 at the time and trust me honey, you will have many more boyfriends to practice kissing with before you settle down. Thats part of the fun of dating. And anyway the fact that he was freaked out by the kiss may just be the fact that he was a 12 year old boy at the time too. Just put it down to experience and enjoy being young and free. Everything will fall into place when the time is right, and I promise, one day you will laugh when you think about how worried you were. No ones first kiss is perfect.

Oh to be a teenager again! You need to relax. It was your first time!!! Everyone is nervous their first time. I know my first kiss I ended up kissing the guy's nose instead of his lips. Yes, it was embarrasing, but I got over it and moved on. You need to chill out and enjoy this time of your life. Date, have fun...and if the time is right, kiss the guy! Just quit stressing. If the guy doesn't like the way you kiss, ask him to show you how. If he likes you, he'll do it. If not, there are plenty of others out there. Besides, haven't you ever heard of the phrase, "practice makes perfect"? GET OUT THERE AND GO FOR IT, GIRL!

You need to be concentrating on school, and don't worry about kissing, He must have been the one, that was a bad kisser, that is something that you can't go too wrong with, You was not bad, he did not know what he was doing, so do not waste any more time worrying about kissing, I will bet you the next time you do kiss, their will be no problem.

Keep in mind that HE asked for the kiss, not you--so he should have been man enough to deal with whatever came!

You're a big girl now. When you go to kiss your new boyfriend, ask him to teach you how. He will be so touched that you haven't been kissing everybody else, he will almost cry.

Forget the past... you are 4 years older... find you a guy... pucker up... and let him to take the lead... relax... you'll get the hang of it... it's all good... you never mentioned he said you were a bad kisser... what makes you think you were bad... I am assuming he was young too!!.. he is probably thinking the same thing over your first refusing to kiss him... Don't worry!!! Darlin'

Course you can. You were just young kids experimenting, nothing more. Kissing isn't something you need to practise - there aren't any exams. When you meet someone you really like it will come as naturally as holding hands.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. That guy was just an ***-hole. They say, that your true love will always think your kiss is the best, and I beleive it.
