Really anything would be fine--if you just want something in general, perhaps go a step up from an average birthday gift.

Since it's seen as the transition from childhood, there are a lot of really meaningful things you could do as well. For example, find a lovely blank book and have all your and her friends sign it with well-wishes, as a sort of symbolic support from childhood friends.
