procreating to the point where human life has lost its value is the type of world which we live in now. how many more millions can this tiny fragile planet of ours sustain? millions of poor who are born to poverty and die in poverty.
even if there was a god would he approve the way we humans have populated his earth in such an insane manner?

This might come as a surprise to you, but plenty of homosexuals have children. True, they do need a bit of input from a third person (of the opposite gender than the couple involved). But to claim that homosexuality will reduce the birthrate is insane. Homosexuality has been around as long as humans have been.
The only way to reduce the number of people on this Earth is by educating women. Women who had an education have fewer kids than those who don't.

I agree with this completely. My biggest reason for not having kids is because the world is already overpopulated; why add to the problem? Not just for the sake of the earth, but why would I want to raise a child under the threat of global warming, massive environmental destruction, and the setup of World War III?

Birth control is necessary now that people don't die as often as they did while in childhood. We are overpopulating our earth, and eventually, the religious extremists will have to condone birth control.
