Just a little blip in the human evolutionary path, the following of religion will eventually go - might take a few more generations though, depends on peoples willingness to understand education and fact rather than tales - will the human animal still have to link up with some structure or 'club' ?. And will it be many clubs so that wars and suchlike can still be started ?. (all wars are currently started in the name of religion).

Had to laugh at the two dicks that said... "read the bible man" ..like its proof of something and the other nutter that said "follow islam" .. morons the pair of them. And in retrospect that probably one of the first times islam ans christianity has been grouped together.. That should upset them both eh? lol...

A human beings sentience kinda initiated this whole religion thing. The more we as humans find out about the reality of this existence, the less we need to be brainwashed with some stone age dogma telling us how to be good to ourselves and horrific to others. Religion breeds hate, intolerance, abuse, and death.

In the future, Id like to think the world will hold love, tolerance, care and life in a higher regard than the organised criminal religions have done. Ban them all....

Religion will evolve as we learn more about ourselves and the universe.
There will be no more Islam/Christianity/judaism or any such faiths. These all originally came from the same source and will eventually realise there is only one god and all have been worshiping him incorrectly for centuries.
Sad fact is that so called learned people justify killing in the name of their religion. Sad bastards.
Isn't it strange that the simple religions practiced by so called primitive societies dont encourage their believers to murder those whose beliefs differ.
Perhaps we should forget religion as preached and follow the Yellow Brick Road !!!

Wars are started because of greed, not religion.

Poor people are dominant in religion and poor people gain nothing from warfare. Their masters are greedy manipulaters who convince them that war is the only answer. And proceed to slaughter poor people on both sides in the quest to satisfy their greed.

Rich people are the ONLY beneficiaries of the "war on terror" and all other "wars" that have been fought throughout all of history.

Hopefully, humans will come to realize that we are socialist by nature and stop supporting capitalism, the most corrupt and "evil" system ever invented by any species. And, the religions that were invented & supported by capitalists (Judaism & Christianity).

We'd worship the queen of England's vagina and sniff its holy dew. I don't think religion will ever fizzle out but if it did expect something as peculiar as what Ive just said.

I think that religions will be maintained, you must know that evolution is not one path, but more like a tree, so there are those who are destined to be on a dead end ....and those of us who will go on making progress and develop into more sophisticated beings.
Religion just deadens the intellect and prevents questioning, investigation and discovery.

I don't know what the followers of Scientology will do.
