Poor thing! I think that happens quiet a lot in life. I dont really know why it happens. Happened to me a few times. I think this will just make you stronger (sadly in this world we have to be strong to actually enjoy later on).
I think what you should do is think about this. Maybe your giving the guy too much attention? that usually makes your own value decline. Does he know your in love with him? If he does and hasnt really told you hes not in love etc but your a friend, then i say dont stay in contact anymore, maybe just a hi and hello but thats it, no hanging out etc (maybe difficult but will save you a lot of pain in the future, eg a new girl turns up with him).
So dont worry about it. It happens. But think about this, there are 6 Billion people on this planet, are you gonna let this one person mess up your mood when there could be another 1 who is better in every way and DOES love you back?

Yes I have. It hurts as hell. A guy I was truly in love with pretended to be friends with me...and then at the last moment backstabbed me so bad it still hurts to think about...that was 3 years ago. Honey if he is really your friend stay that way. Don't let him know you love him. Being friends with him at least gives you a chance to be with him. If he finds out about you being in love with him he may not be so comfortable with you anymore. I wish you all the best and I'm sorry about your trouble.

maybe u should tell him/her that u want to be more than friends, and if that doesnt work then you will eventually get over it, and trust me, you will love someone else. I went through some thing very similar to your situation, and i thought that i would NEVER get over this guy, but as time went by, i did get over him, and plus being single is more fun and exciting than being with someone.

Yes its horrible isant, it, I don,t know if its real love though becuase with real love well thats about give and take, you may choose the wrong sort of men. Sometimes we go with certain people becuause we feel we are not worth better. What we have been told in the past about ourselves. Get some counselling. email me and well chat.

I learned through my own experience you cannot make someone love you! You can love them, but that doesnt mean they will love you back! You cannot help who youre in love with! And thats ok!

i know that this person seems like the best thing since sliced bread but putting all your energy into someone who isnt gonna return the favor isnt worth it. there is so many fish in the sea. stay his friend. accept the fact that your his friend and move on. i know thats not an easy but mabe you dont need to hang out with him for awhile cause it hurts your feelings being arond him. but either way theres no sense in trying to get him to like you the way you like him. there is someone out there for you its just not this one. good luck

every one or almost every one has gone thru this, it may never work out, sorry to say but if he doesnt have the feelings for you, u should move on, u should find a rebound, even though it wasnt a realtionship, find a guy to take your mind of him for a bit then go look for a real relationship.
