That is precious!!!
My niece asked me that years ago and I told her God had many jobs. I showed her examples like painting the sky, making sure there was water in the ocean, etc.

From a four year old? I'd say that God has a very nice office with lots of windows so he can see everything and a computer that gets everyone's prayers by email.

Vedic Literatures tells us that -
God is simply playing with his friends all day long. He has innumerable servants to do all the work in this world.

And if your 4 year old wants to play all day with God then he has to first become good and make friendship with God.. Because God does not like bad boys...

God loves us. He shows us his love by giving us the blessing that we need. Even though sometimes we don't think it is a blessing.

He works for free, supervising us humans. He doesn't give us pay checks, but if we're good, we get to go to heaven to be with him when we die.
