Cheddar cheese is very good in tomato soup. The only thing better is to have the whole grilled cheese sandwich to eat with your soup. Dip the sandwich .... take a bite .... Yummy! :)

Actually some restaurants will sprinkle a little grated cheddar on the top of tomato soup. It's nice, the flavors compliment each other.

I like to sprinkle a little shredded cheddar on top of cream of tomato soup. It's yummy!

Crumbled, shredded or whole slices, I love it that way!
We also started doing goldfish crackers for the kids!
