It's a common misconception that karaoke CDG discs are video discs. They are actually standard audio tracks with graphics (images and lyrics) written to the normally unused subchannel area. Though I have heard that there are a few DVD players that will play CDG discs, this is the exception and not the rule.

You need a karaoke CDG, or multi-format, player. They come in a variety of price ranges and connect to your home stereo system in much the same way as a DVD player. See the links below for more information.

It should work on the one you have. Try your sublitle and language selections too..........
