IT IS POSSIBLE! Only the young and immature will think it is not.
Two people see each other for the first time, hit off instantly, get married and live happily ever after. It happens all the time. I am personally friends with two or more such couples.

I felt strongly about my husband (of 14 yrs) the first time I met him. I wouldn't say it was 'love', but I knew at that moment that he would be a part of my life for a very long time. I was drawn to him, not physically but on a deeper level. I was married to someone else at the time, so, like you, I didn't think I could ever be with him. I accepted this but still knew he was going to somehow be a part of my life. A year later we were together, and I have never been happier. Life is full of changes.

I have experienced love at first sight and am still with the wonderful man I met.
Love at first sight is felt deep down in your soul. Sure, you are attracted to them physically, but you also love their mind and soul. You communicate on some deep level you never knew existed.
I am lucky enough that my man felt the same connection. We have been together ever since. I don't know how I could have endured living my life without him in it.

It is a myth.
Having feelings in one night, is like closing your eyes in a dark alley and expecting to be perfectly safe.
The "not being able to be with them" that may be triggering what "feels" like something it is not.
What that feeling is, is the longing to know or believe in the possibility, the what if? he or she was the one?
The romantic idea of love at first sight.

I don't necessarily believe in love at first sight because I don't think you can fall in love in one day and go out with that person. It's always better to take it step by step. Talk to that person, get to know them, and then, if you guys feel like you're close. Pop the question.

There is no love at first sight. There is lust at first sight and certainly it is possible to have feelings of emotions for someone but it can't be love until you've gotten to know who they are.
