I had to visit the "City of Culture" this week, and after I had done what I had to do, I spent the rest of the day sight-seeing. The place is a soul-less dump. If it wasn't for the Beatles, the place would have been closed years ago!

Hahahahahahah!!

As it happens it WAS closed years ago. There was a time that it was just a load of nothingful marsh, until slavery livened it up a bit. (& that was why it was so advantageous nobody went to that backwater underground in those days) its only a few years ago that serious redevelopment really started.

to its defence however; liverpool does have an extremely lively night life. you probably saw it when it was asleep (during the day)

The tour buses dont actualy take you to see anything. It just means you can park up outside of Liverpool and when you get back your stereo will still be in the car and you will have all 4 wheels on it.
