I think it shld be based more on the personality as tht is wht really makes up the person.
This is however not to say tht u shld marry someone u think looks like a monkey. the person shld be presentable and attractive enough to you. (a hot beauty with bad personality will soon put u off).

I don't go for shallow people. If you want to base a relationship on looks, go for it.
I base mine on what the person is like on the inside, how he treats me and how he treats others around us.

his looks got my attention first... mostly b/c he had blue hair at the time i met him lol.. and he wasnt too shabby looking either.. and after we started dating i realized that his personality was wonderful too... and actually as time went on i found him more attractive in every aspect ... not just looks and personality but everything about him...

looks help but honestly PERSONALITY why would you be with someone who you cant stand but there cute makess no type of sense you should be with someone who makes you happy
