i need change BIOS because i need install windows xp and this cd can´t run in mode ms-dos and this is the only access i have to my pc thanks.

Put the cd in the drive. Start the computer. Watch the screen and when it says at the bottom, usually at the left, "Press Delete to Enter Setup," do that. Then the BIOS will come up. Use the arrow keys to navigate around - you are looking for Boot Sequence. When you get that, change the boot sequence so that the cd-rom is first, the hdd 0 is second and the floppy is third and other is last. When you are sure that you have this done, press F 10 to save and exit, Y to confirm, and then the computer starts up and boots the cd before it boots the hard drive and Windows installation will start.

You will need to look at the website for the manufacturer of your motherboard (That's where the BIOS is) and see if your BIOS can be updated. Newer motherboards allow the BIOS to be updated with software. If you have an old motherboard you may have to change a chip to update the BIOS. If your motherboard is that old it may be time for a new motherboard.

when you turn on your pc, please standby to press 'delete' key and the BIOS will show of. then you can change any setting in the BIOS function
