I read over and over again that Christians are pushy, they tell you to convert or you will go to hell.....
Being Christian, this has got me thinking....am I one of those? I am I once of those ranting, raving, do it my way Christians???
Please tell me and show me how I am being one. I will try and explain my words or tell you 'Yep - I was being a b****"

Apeman - Having been an athiest in my former life, I remember what would tick me off and make me more further away. And my husband likes my views on that particular subject too. =)

I have went back and read some of your answers. I would say that you are quite the opposite of what is being accused. I make this judgment based on your answer to the question about splitting the R&S boards. I thought your answer to this was very defensive of all people, and it was nice.

Christians are persecuted and put down at every turn. They have been since the beginning. God told us that this would happen. He said that anyone of faith who believed would be persecuted for their belief in him. Let me ask you a question. Look around at all the other religions and tell me how many of them are getting harped on by others the way Christians are? Not many if any. You are not being a b**** they just want to break your spirit because they are envious of your faith. The more faithful you get the madder they will become, try this and see. Don't change stay strong have Faith. Peace.

You know those who are pushy and say things like are most of the time not properly trained to go evangelize. Another thing is that do you Love God, are you greatful that he gave us His ONLY Son to die for us? Then why not try to spread the GOOD NEWS and sometimes we just get over zelous and say certain things. Even though they may be true, we can offend people by saying that "you're going to Hell if you don't follow Jesus." We have to know how to ease our way into the situation and then talk about salvation.

If you are that way... you are no a christian... you think you might be... but you are not (When I say you... I dont mean you you personally....) but Jesus was not that way-someone calling themselves a Christan SHOULD not act that way either... no one has the power to SEND someone to hell... sooooo why would you say you are going to hell if you don't believe what I believe?!?!?!? Ahhh what I am trying to say is... don't get pulled into that trap of being one of those types of Christians... believe what you want to believe... act they way you should and and live the way Jesus did!

Erm...
Only you know whether you are one of those or not. Do you try to push people into believing your beliefs? Do you talk about how fab your religion is and that other people should believe? Or do you quietly get on with your own beliefs and leave other people to make up their own mind and live their own lives?
The best way to be is to give help and advice if people ask for it or want to know more but otherwise be happy in the knowledge that you are doing what you can to get into heaven (if those are your beliefs!) and if other people dont want that, it is up to them.

Well, this is a hard question, but I don't believe that if you don't believe in Jesus you'll go to hell, your fellow believers are probably just narrow-minded and think that Christ is the only way to go, but I personally don't think it's true. Most religions are alike; they're just guides that could help us live a happier life most of the time.
