I like the time after when all the apostles were hidding out and Thomas was saying "You guys are simple, I'm the smart one I need PROOF he's been risen from the dead. No way I'm believing he rose from the dead unless I put my HAND into his wound from the guard. until then it's been a big game" and then Jesus comes in and is all like "Hey Thomas, look at this gaping hole man, come here and FEEL it dude....come on, it's really gross....but it's REAL" (read disclaimer)

This skit shows that the apostles weren't stupid people, and didn't just believe in anything they were told. They questioned and questioned, so we don't have to. It's like a time saver. Kinda like when we learn from others mistakes, saves time. Jesus SAVES again!

' I witness news;Live from Jericho!" is a really great play about Joshua and the battle of Jericho. I directed it at my church when I was 14, so obviously it is pretty easy to pick up. It follows a washed up camera crew(teens) as they document the battle of Jericho. The "star" of the camera crew is high maintenance, which leads to a few funny lines. The bible characters are usually played by kids, and Rahab has a great solo. the soldiers arrest the camera crew thinking that they are the spies, and the soldiers have a song that my kids loved! The play lasts around an hour, but as long as you put an intermission in somewhere the time will fly by. Lifeway Christian stores is where I bought my copy. Check it out!

I have to do this kind of thing about 3 times a year with my religion classes. I have searched the Internet and bookstores, and have had a really hard time finding something that suits our needs. So we make our own. I wish I had some of them to send you, but they are all at school right now. Maybe one of the answers here will be something I can use! I am anxious to see.
