Im 13 and i have an older sister,16.she is going in the wrong direction, i would try to stay out of it but it is affecting me too. my parents are thinking of sending her away, and i love her to death and i cant imagine my life without her. and since she ever started highschool we barely talk or even see eachother anymore. the last time i talked to her was over a month ago, should i confront her and tell her i miss her?

absolutely.
your sister is a very important person in life.

maybe if you have a heart to heart with her, she may try to change knowing you are younger and paying attention to her as a role model.

i could not imagine my sister away from me at that age either.

good good good good luck:)

yes you should tell your sister you miss her. let her know that her behavior is not cool and that shes gonna end up somewhere where she wont want to be. if she tells you the bad stuff shes doing dont tell her its cool. sometimes the only way to get them to see there doing wrong is to show them tuff love. so your parents sending her away might be a good idea. my sister was 16 when she got pregnant. shes 21 now and she has 3 kids. we should have stepped in when she was starting to get in trouble. i know its hard cause you dont want to be without your sister but if she gets hurt or killed in doing the dumb stuff teenagers do than your sister really wont be around. her going away for a while will be better for her. at least she wont be in jail or worse. if you try to tell her what she is doing is wrong shell just argue with you that she knows what shes doing. shes living for the moment and not thinking about the consequences. at this point theres really not much you can tell her. shes 16 and thinks she has the answers to everything. let your parents do what best. they would never do anything to hurt her. there trying to save her from herself and her self distruction. good luck to your parents. and to you stay strong and learn from the mistakes shes making.

She's going through a rough age. You are so young and that's sad you are having to go through this pain. I am so sorry hun, your parents solution is not a good one though. They shouldn't just send her away. That is so rough. I am a Mom of four & I get frustrated sometimes too. I would never send any of them away though. I say I will, to scare them. If I were you, yes I would sit down and talk to her and let her know you love her and want to help.

well going to high school is a big change. there are a lot of tough things to deal with and she may feel like you wouldnt understand whats going on in her life now. but dont give up on her, and when you do talk to her, try to be understanding
