Now a days when people say communism, they generally means the phylosophy of Karl Marx.

Karl Marx contended that philosophers have only interpreted the world; the point is to change it. His philosophy is often called “dialectical materialism” because it comes from the dialectic of George Hegel—thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. When applied to society, his philosophy is known as communism. His idea is that for many generations, the bourgeoisie [the property owners] have competed with the proletariat [the working class], and that this conflict will terminate in the communist society. In other words, the workers will overthrow the capitalistic class and establish a so-called dictatorship of the proletariat, which will finally become a classless society.
Marx regarded religion as the main cause of classes in the society and where opposed to Religion. Hence Communist are still interpreted as Atheist.

What general people don’t know is that Vedic Literatures talk about Spiritual Communism. In Marx Communism, every thing belongs to the State and every one works for the State. Every one must offer all produce to State.
But according to spiritual communism, all properties on the surface of the globe belong to the God. The population has a right to use goods only after offering them to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

In a communist state the idea is that no one should starve; everyone must have his food. Similarly, in the Vedic concept of grahastha [householder] life it is recommended that a householder see that even a lizard or a snake living in his house should not starve. Even these lower creatures should be given food, and certainly all humans should.

The major difference between Marx communism and Vedic Communism is that, Marx communist think only about the people under the State. Where as Vedic Communism speaks about all living entities created by God.

First, understand that "communism" has two VERY different meanings.

The original was that each member of the community would give to all the best that they had and each member of the community would draw from the communal pot all that they needed. A laudable ambition. Unfortunately, even the earliest Christians couldn't make a go of it (see Acts, Ananias and Sapphira).

The Marxist version attempts the same Utopia without the steadying influence of religious morality.

Both are foredoomed because human nature is still fallen. Even the baptised believer is still prey to greed, envy, spite, anger, etc.

What we today call "communists" are in fact Marxist-Leninists whose REAL god is 'The State'. And of course THEY represent 'The State'. You can see where that inevitably leads, given the human propensities for the above sins.

Technically, the word simply means in union. Nice, but face it, you can't get 50 people in the same room to sing Happy Birthday without a lot of rehearsal time beforehand. We humans just don't DO union very well.

In ancient Greece the idea of communism was connected to a myth about the "golden age" of humanity, when society lived in full harmony, before the development of private property. Some have argued that Plato's The Republic and works by other ancient political theorists advocated communism in the form of communal living, and that various early Christian sects, in particular the early Church, as recorded in Acts of the Apostles, and indigenous tribes in the pre-Columbian Americas practiced communism in the form of communal living and common ownership. Christian communism espouses the idea that Christianity was meant to be communist in nature.

Communism in ideology is by the state for the state. I thing your question goes back to the Russian revoloution as usually if the government has the support of the church then they can controll the people. so during a revoloution the church is usually the first thing to be toppled, the bolsheviks of the USSR did this and turned russia into a cimmunist and atheist state and the the church in russia was not properly reinforced until the collapse of the soviet union

Karl Marx was opposed to organized religion and Stalin attacked the church viciously during his reign of terror. But in fact, communism as a philosophy works quite well with religious faith. Christian socialism, which has a long and proud history, is a good example. There are many good religious folk who believe strongly in a socialist society as the closest political expression of the gospel of Jesus.

In Mao's communist China, all religion was banned. However, I'm not sure if true communism conflicts with religious ideas. For example does any religion say you can or cannot own property?

Cali reported it. particular, it is the concept that faith binds human beings to its own outlooks combating loose concept. Then communism additionally would not enable any commerce view on its dogmas! If religions transgress the promise of civility and solidarity and entertain hostility on despite excuse, everybody is absolute to suspect the justifications. maximum religions get monopolised via institutions who start up analyzing issues of their techniques and giving orders on even the secular activities of human beings / followers. The conviction in one's concept desire not turn to bigotry, if human beings had the sense to attain that others have a similar real to contemplate their ideals ultimate for them. The breach of peace and trouble-free play pushed via bigotry had mader religions suspects in the eyes of many theists besides, who persist with their faith without something to do with the institutions of clerics and their training / fatwa's. it quite is to not declare in the process board that one and all non secular institutions are beside the mark. There are nonetheless noble few each and every the place yet those crossing the strains of civilty break equivalent to the religions. non secular companies spreading the stable will between human beings and inspiring self enquiry are ultimate yet they're few and lots aside. So the final image of religions proceed to be specifically blemished in the eyes of confusing middle communists (i understand pious communists additionally who would not in spite of the fact that have something to do with the Mutts / church homes in contact in propaganda activities).
