First, take a few digital pictures of the haircut as proof. Don't put gel in it or style it... just pix as it came from the hairdresser. You'll want pix to take to the stylist's manager when you discuss getting a refund or a free style with another person who works at that shop. Go back to the shop to complain right away!
Next, don't panic, hair grows back. Look through magazines at the store to see how celebrities are wearing their hair and use gel or mousse to duplicate it, slicking back the short pieces or holding them in place with a headband or barrettes. (not sure if you're female, sorry). Make lemonade from this lemon experience and smile your way through tomorrow at school!
Finally, the next time you select a hairstyling salon, ask about their policy for bad haircuts.

A wig?
A head-scarf?
Ham it up, dye it bright pink, put lots of gel in it?
Make it cute and use clips, little stick-on hair diamantes - hair bling always takes attention away from the actual hair!
Shave it all off and say you did it for charity?
Wear a bunny rabbit costume complete with head and say it's a new school mascot or that you really are a bunny and why shouldn't human size bunnies also get an education?

don't worry about it; they only difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks
don't worry too much about your appearance, you'll be much happier and people will be more comfortable with you if you are comfortable with yourself
it has happened to everyone, or will so go with it, tell everyone what a lousy job they did, make it a bit of a joke, enjoy the nonsense, cause it is so unimportant
have a good day on Monday
if you wear a smile, you'll look marvelous

see if there is a way to possibly get it cut a tiny bit shorter but into a different style that you like better. if that doesnt work then you are going to have to grin and bear it till it grows out. hopefully your hair will grow quickly. dont take it too badly, what you think looks bad may actually be something your friends like. try to accept it as theres not too much you can do about it for the moment.

Go 2 a better place and ask them to fix it even though your hair is short I'm sure that they could cut it or style it in some way that would not look so bad

If your hair is long enough, wear a ponytail everyday until it grows back....Or you could scrunch your hair with mousse to get that wavy/curly look....just wad up your hair with the mousse and when you are done spray with hair spray. No one will notice the length and they'll notice the way it looks.
REMEMBER: Too much mousse will weigh down your hair and it won't scrunch, so use a little bit!!

if you're hair is messed up then go to the mirror and try to find a look for you that will look good even if its messed up. Remember even messed up things that look bad can be fixed or wait till ur hair grows longer

Just pretend you like it. If it doesn't make *you* uncomfortable, it won't make any one else think about how bad it looks. And just ignore/tell off the jerks who say anything to you about it. It also may not look as bad as you think it does. Also, if you can, put your hair in a partial ponytail.

I have this same issue. Use gel or spritz till it grows back. Let the stylist's manager know what happened too.

You can;t do anything except to wait for it to grow back. And next time, choose a salon which you can trust. Ask your friends for referrals.
