yeah buddy i own three i read it in may and june and july
it gave me nightmares
no one ever explained how its the word of god and it allows slavery, and the beating of slaves as we see in exodus 21:20-21, and no where in that gospel did jesus say oops i was wrong,
all i ever got was the predetermined cut and paste for people who ask about slavery from some apologetics website

Dozens of translations and multiple Greek and Hebrew versions. I even have a Creole Bible. I began preparing for ministry before my fourth birthday. By the time I completed seminary I no longer took John's gospel as other than a religious fiction circulated to support a view of Jesus that was nowhere in view when the synoptics were written, and Luke and Matthew as being apologetic works that were not entirely honest in their use of OT scripture and claims to historical care. Though some commentators like Gundry call Mark an apologetic work also, I recognize Mark as a unique biographical work which uses irony as a powerful literary tool, and is, I believe, the closest thing to unembellished early tradition as we have regarding Jesus. I think the church mostly follows Paulianity and has little familiarity with what Jesus taught, less obedience to it, and a mindless focus on mystical dogma taught about Jesus, to the point where he is just a hook on which Christianity today hangs it dogmatic and doctrinal hat. But I disagree that the rest is just commentary.

I have read the entire bible 23 times, in 13 different versions and in greek and hebrew. I have read the New testament an additional 27 times, as I agree that's where the meat...excuse me tofu is. I personally have six bibles but I must say that my favorite is the Thomas Jefferson Redacted Bible. I still haven't decided if I truly think that christianity is beautiful or horrible, however I do know that it is mythical.

I do, and have read it through and through, along with the Dead Sea Scrolls and several books about both. I find the investigation quite fascinating as to how the fabrication came about....

Many!. For in order to ridicule my word they must first understand it, and that is their undoing. For how can a man argue there is no God if for the basis of his arguement he uses the very words he doesn't beleive in. God Loves you!
