Go to the Jewelry Exchange in S.F. It's like an outlet center indoors that has tons of different jewelers. I got my ring there. I went to Padis Jewelers there and got a great price for my ring. Call them first because you need a pass from one of the vendors to get in. Anyone can go but your name needs to be left on a list.

I don't know about were, but I would advise you to go to an independent jeweler. They give you better prices and quality. They are awesome. The chain jewelery stores, are all the same. Smaller ones that are run by a jeweler that does it all themselves are much better. Good Luck!
