GNC has a supplement called "Ultra Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin [sometimes known as "vitamin H" ] alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourishair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results

I used mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. It really works. One ting though the conditioner is very heavy... my mom told me that she would take a empty spray bottle and mix the conditioner with water. After you wash your hair with the shampoo, condition your hair with a deep conditioner for damaged hair. I use motions or nexxus reconstructing conditioner you can find at Sally's. Towel dry your hair, spray your hair with the mail and tail and pull your hair back in a ponytail if you can. Leave the conditioner in your hair and keep it pulled back... reapply the spray/conditioner mix when you style your hair... I mean everytime. Don't use heat or chemicals in your hair if you can. You will notice quick changes in the thickness of your hair... You can loose your hair to stress or excessive heat and chemicals as well as too much sun. It could also be your shampoo. Read the labels if the ingredient DEA is in your shampoo then you are using AJAX on your hair. Read the ingredients on AJAX and Comet and you will see the same cleaning agent DEA is in it. Stay away from the household cleaning agents in your shampoo.

Keep your hair moisturized as well. Dry hair will break, and get your ends trimmed at least every 6-8weeks.

Hi. I am so sorry. That must be so upsetting for you. Look, there are wonderful drugs these days that can stop hair loss. Get to a doctor right away and get a perscription. These medicines really do work and you will feel a lot better. And remember, true beauty is from within, not from the top of your head.

may I ask how old you are and what kind of shampoo you are using. I had a friend that used prell, for instance, long long ago, and had significant hair loss. When I use particular shampoos, my hair falls out in wads. It may be your shampoo or other hair products. If this is not the case (after you have researched the possibility) you may want to look in to seeing a dermatologist, there may be something going on with your scalp, hair folicules, etc... good luck

See a doctor to rule out medical causes. There are vitamins that may help if you're dificient. Also stress and autoimmune diseases can cause hair loss. The most common cause is male pattern baldness. Your cures are implants and surgery. I'm about 30% bald and woudn't waste the money, but I'm in my 60's. If I were younger, I'd consider surgery/implants. There are all sorts of toupe's and weaving systems that look good, but don't look natural and are also expensive.

you need to have a complete hormone workup as well as blood count and thyroid panel to rule out internal causes.Diet alone is not enough u need to take supplements.

1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair

2.) green vegetables are great for the hair, contains lots of minerals.

3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.

4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.

5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.

6.) silica

this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo and conditioner.

Shampoo your hair every other day. It might be because of thos harsh chemicals on your shampoo. And don't forget to condition your hair!

Don't brush your hair if you don't need to.

Don't chemically-treat your hair (perms, highlights...)

Apply virgin coconut oil to your hair to strengthen it.
