Ive had a great idea instead of drawing a cartoon of Mohammed wouldnt it be better to shoot a live action movie, the problem here is who would be the best actor to portray such an amazing person like Mohammed, I mean he was a really intelligent and wonderful person and was Gods profet. you dont get much more important than that apart from maybe jesus and Buddah, so I need your help who would you like to see cast in the title role of Mohammed..the man who moved mountains....i like the idea of Dustin Hoffman or the Jewish actor from Freinds, who do you think would be good

Before even planning such a project, I'd go to the Muslim community first and see what they'd have to say about it, because they might be sensitive about such an idea. Universal got into trouble with the Hindu community several years ago when they did the Xena episode "The Way"--some people from that faith were saying Krishna was depicted as aiding Xena and Gabrielle, two women that the people from the faith were seeing as being in a lesbian relationship (even though Xena fans know this wasn't really the nature of their friendship--they were just really good friends). The people complaining pointed out that Krishna was depicted saying things that he never really said. IIRC, they also took exception to the episode originally having a disclaimer comparing Hanuman to characters from the Planet of the Apes movies. Universal was forced to make a few changes to the episode before allowing it to air again or be included in DVD box sets.

no such movie should ever be made. Muslims do not even know what the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) looked like therefor it is blasphemy to 'assume' what he looks like and depict him. It is said in the Islamic religion if you dream that you have seen the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) it is as though you have truly seen him but you should never repeat or describe what he physically looked like as recalling it sometimes is not very accurate. Therefor, making a motion picture with somebody acting as the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is deeply offensive and no Muslim will support it. Besides nobody is worthy enough to represent him.
