What is the correct way to tip at a sushi bar?

They always have a tip jar but the waitress gives you your bill. Should you tip both or do they split it if you tip the waitress. The only thing the waitress does is give you tea and soup so I dont think it is fair if she gets the whole tip.

I would just put it in a jar. I think their tip is centralized.

if they have a tip jar then put it in there
